House of Representatives, university administrator, founder of CEO Dialogues, Inc., senior advisor to a governor, and has been a governance consultant for 20 years. He is the author of four books and recipient of four honorary degrees.

Fred is a partner with The Andringa Group where he consults primarily with nonprofit boards and their CEOs. His specialty is in developing board policy manuals and he has co-authored a book on the subject with Bob Andringa that will be published in 2007 by the American Management Association. He retired in 2001 from PricewaterhouseCoopers after 29 years with the firm, where he was the Managing Partner of the government consulting practice as well as a member of the US and Global Boards of Directors. He chaired the board committee that oversaw the global merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. He is an adjunct professor of leadership at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and an instructor in the National Center for Leadership in Washington, D.C.

The Navigators focus on helping people cope with the realities of life in a troubled world, providing spiritual and practical help. He is currently President Emeritus and Chairman of the Navigator’s U.S. Board of Directors. He currently serves as Chairman, Board of Directors, Christian Management Association. White also serves on the board of the Air Force Association and their Development Committee. He is a member of the Greater Europe Mission Board as well other boards. White served 13-½ years active duty in the United States Air Force, including two years as a mission controller at Cape Canaveral at the height of the U.S. space program. Six years were served as an associate professor of astronautics at the United States Air Force Academy. He is co-author of a nationally recognized textbook on astrodynamics, The Fundamentals of Astrodynamics. Although General White resigned from active service in 1973, he then spent 24 years in the Air Force Reserves in a number of assignments, retiring July 1, 1997 as a major general.
